- We do not require account creation.
- Core utility features are processed on-device.
- Some third-party SDKs (for analytics, ads, and billing) may process data under their own policies.
- Sensor, network, battery, and device readings are informational and may be inaccurate or unavailable on some devices.
2. Information Collected
2.1 Data you provide directly
- Generally none for normal app usage.
- If you contact support, you may provide email/message content.
2.2 Data processed on-device
- Flashlight state, strobe settings, screen-light mode settings.
- QR/barcode scan history stored locally on your device.
- Battery, network, Wi-Fi, sensor, and device information shown in the app UI.
- Microphone amplitude data when Audio Sync is enabled.
2.3 Data collected by third-party SDKs
- App interaction data.
- Device identifiers, including Advertising ID.
- Diagnostics and crash information.
- Approximate location data where required for Wi‑Fi related functionality.
2.4 Permissions used
- Camera: flashlight, scanner, magnifier.
- Record Audio: Audio Sync LED feature.
- Vibrate: haptic feedback.
- Network / Wi-Fi / Location: connectivity status and nearby Wi‑Fi listing where supported.
3. Third-Party Services
- Firebase Analytics for analytics and app improvement.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for advertising.
- Google Play Billing for purchases (e.g., Remove Ads).
Third-party services such as Firebase Analytics and Google Mobile Ads may collect device identifiers, app interaction data, diagnostics information, and approximate location data where required for analytics, advertising, and service functionality.
These providers may collect or process data according to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
4. How Data Is Used
- To run requested utility features.
- To persist selected settings on-device.
- To provide ad display and in-app purchase functionality.
- Firebase Analytics is used to understand app usage, improve performance, analyze feature usage, and enhance the user experience.
- To improve app quality and reliability.
5. Data Retention
- Local app data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.
- Third-party services retain data under their own retention policies.
6. Security
We apply reasonable safeguards. Data transmitted by the app and supported third-party services is encrypted in transit. However, no mobile app can guarantee absolute security.
7. Important Accuracy and Hardware Disclosure
The app includes hardware-intensive features (high-frequency flashlight, strobe, police-style flashing,
continuous screen flash, sensor polling, microphone processing). Use may increase heat, battery drain,
and component wear. On some devices, prolonged use may reduce hardware lifespan or cause
instability. Use responsibly and stop immediately if your device overheats or behaves abnormally.
Information shown in the app (sensor/network/battery/device values) may be incomplete, delayed,
approximate, or incorrect depending on device firmware, OEM restrictions, signal conditions,
permissions, and Android version.
8. Not for Safety-Critical Use
This app is not medical, emergency, legal, engineering, or navigation equipment. Do not rely on it where
failure or inaccuracy could cause harm, injury, or property damage.
9. Children
The app is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law in your region.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Updates become effective when published in the app.
